Message from the organiser: You're invited to attend the 4th International Conference on Safety, Quality, Audit & Outcomes Research in Intensive Care (SQAO 2010), taking place in the beautiful Victorian countryside near Ballarat and Macedon Ranges spa country, on the 10th and 11th August 2010. Register before 18 June and save!
The program will cover such diverse topics as handover, medication safety, data registries, clinical culture, decision support and data linkage. This Conference will be theoretically grounded but practically oriented with active discussions, workshops and free papers to develop new safety and outcomes initiatives.
Although this Conference will be based on Intensive Care, the topics will be applicable to a wide range of health related personnel. The Conference deliberately focuses on multidisciplinary team activities and is suitable for critical care nurses, allied health staff and physicians. A number of dynamic speakers from various disciplines have already committed themselves.
Importantly, this year the meeting will be combined with the first Clinical Trials Group Winter meeting. A great step forward for Safety & Quality!
