MRSA is is universal problem in hospitals all over the world.

To heighten the awareness in ICU colleagues about the prevention of spread of MRSA in our ICU, we have set up an MRSA counter in an eye-catching area. It records the number of MRSA-free days in the ICU, and is flipped back to zero once a new ICU-acquired MRSA case is encountered. The larger this cumulative number of MRSA-free days, the greater is the encouragement to our staff! Up to now, the best result is up to almost 2 months of MRSA-free days.
